Im looking at purchasing the Sony CDP-CX355 for my system.Problem is my stereo stand is not that big and the changer wont fit in it.My sony da4es dosent fit in it either but sits on top.I was wondering if I could put the mega changer on top the stand and the da4es on top of the changer? Not sure how well built these mega changers are and the da4es is pretty heavy.Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

I don't see why you couldn't because the Megachanger doesn't have any overheating issues just make sure that the weight of the DA4ES doesn't damage it.

When I owned the 4ES, it frequently sat atop the CX355. Maxx is correct in that there should not be any heat issues in setting it up that way.

I have had about 40 lbs of equipment and Mass Loading material sitting on top of my Sony CX300 Megachanger for years and it runs just fine.

parney- If you plan to use the Optical output on your new Megachanger you might consider using 30M hz bandwidth Glass Toslink.
