Hi to all,
My brother is interested in having a dedicated Home theater room. he's also interested in small speakers like the BOSE jewel cubes. he's leaning towards Bose but he'd go for Sony (he's a fan) if they have something similar to the lifestyle 28!! maybe I could convince him to go for Sony separates.
so, he'd like to know:
1- what would be a good room size for a HT (with a few # of ppl to use it- less than 5!)? ((he's thinking around 19 (L) X 16(W) X 9(H) ft!!!))
2- where would be the best placement of the speakers? (height, distance from corners/TV...etc)
3- does Sony have a good system with powerfull small speakers like Bose'?
4- is there any companies doing room insulation for such a project?
5- suggestions/ opinions are welcome!
6- any Links regarding these subjects would be highly appreciated.......
7- any other variables? I'm sure there are plenty!!
TIA,
Nazeeh.

Thanks avatar74 for your reply.
a couple more questions if you don't mind;
- would there be a difference if the 5 satellite speakers were all fixed above ear-level?
- money is ALWAYS a big factor (and a constraint , if you could provide me the links for such companies, I'd be thankfull.
Thanks,
Nazeeh.
