 I need the sound card soft ware for the above model, has anyone any ideas where I may find this to download online or where I can buy it?

Greetings and welcome. I think what you are referring to is that you need the drivers for the audio card.
Unless you have added a PCI audio card the PCV-RX301 has an integrated sound card. If you know the model number of audio card and post it back here I will be happy to try to find the driver for you. If not, open up the case and post the chipset number off of the audio chip and I can look for the driver with that information.
