KDF-55WF655
I'm putting together my home theater. My cable box is on
video 5 - component. To view the on-screen display of my home theater preamp, I need to hook it up via component, s video, or composite. I have it into video 6 via component, but it's not working.
How do I simutaneously view my cable on video 5 while seeing the on-screen display on video 6? Thanks!

Welcome to Agoraquest! You can use the Twin View feature to view VIDEO 5 and VIDEO 6 in separate windows. If the on-screen display for your home theater preamp doesn't appear when you select VIDEO 6, try using an S-video or composite video input.

Isn't the right window limited to RF/composite/S-Video inputs? My XBR910 will not display anything from the component or DVI inputs.

My mistake! You are absolutely correct!
scottlr- You need to remove your component video connection from your preamp to VIDEO 6 and replace it with an S-video or composite video connection from your preamp to VIDEO 1, 3 or 4. Then you will be able to use the Twin View feature with VIDEO 5 on the left and the video input connected to your preamp on the right.
