Alternative to AVIA and DVE |

Found a good (ok, decent) alternative to buying the DVE (this is the one I own) or AVIA dvds to set up your TV. Turns out the new Increcibles DVD includes a THX optimizer. Nothing really in depth but has enough there for you to do a decent setup of your TV. Just go to the main menu and select setup. You will find the THX optimizer in there. For anyone planning on buying this DVD, it may save you from having to buy another setup DVD.
P.S. I have the Widescreen version, not sure if it is on the full screen version.

Thanks for the tip, this has been mentioned here in the past. Although the Avia and DVE go into more depth the DVD's with the THX optimiser on them will get you pretty close. Quite awhile ago I spent an afternoon comparing the video settings between my Avia disk and the THX optimiser on "Finding Nemo". I was pleasently surprised to find that they were within a few clicks of each other on most video settings.
