i planned to buy an MD walkman to record lessions and interviews at my work. currently i have a sony IC-recorder, which records in a proprietary format, mono, and not with a high quality. it's the model ICD-BP 120.
as much as i know, some MD-models have a mic input jack and can record at higher quality than my ic-recorder.
IS IT REALLY TRUE, that it is NOT possible to load up recorded audio files from MD to the PC, and you really have to play back this files with the MD player and record it again with the PC's soundcard? this is more than stupid, or?? time-wasting. is there any other way, or is it simply impossible eith all the MD devices?

You can indeed upload recordings that you have made (analog only) with your Walkman to a PC (via SonicStage) as long as your recording was made on a Hi-MD Walkman and is in Hi-MD format - it doesn't work in Net-MD mode.
Fortunately, Sony have just released a utility program on their Walkman support website called "Wave Conversion Tool" which converts this type of recording into .wav files.
I have done this sort of thing myself on my MZ-NH900 and it works perfectly! Just make sure the model you choose has a mic input as the lower spec ones don't...
