    Hello Everyone,

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P52 and every time I import my pictures to my computer the pictures turn out some what dark even when it was sunny outside.  I take pictures outside, mostly of trains and railroad shots. They look good on my screen on the camera until I import to the computer.  When I try to fix them on the photo editing program it ruins the picture by making it fuzzy looking. Is there some way to set the camera where the photo is brighter and things that are dark in color show up better? The 2 programs I have on my
computer to edit my photos are HP Photosmart program and Microsoft Picture It Express 7.0. Every time I hit the auto fix button on both programs it makes the photo even darker. Even when I send my pictures to my friends they ask me why are my pictures so dark? I try to keep the sun behind me at all times because that makes the best pictures but sometimes you can't even read the front of the object. I left you 2 examples of the same picture, a before and after.  Is the program call Photoshop any better that the 2 programs I have now?
Thanks again for your help, do they have a book for dummy's on digitial cameras? HA HA!!

This is what it looks like after I download it to my computer and before I edit it.
