I own the kp61hs10 Sony model.
I have never had a problem with it until today.
I was watching it when all of a sudden, the timer/standby light started blinking, and now I have no picture.
I called the Sony hotline, but they weren't able to help me.
Does anybody know how to get this off, or what might have happened?

    THANK YOU

Is there a pattern to the blinking? Have you tried unplugging the set?

My KP61HS10 just had the same thing happen.  While watching an HD source plugged in the RGB input the picture suddenly went out and the timer/standby light started blinking.  I've tried unplugging it and letting it sit, but still it won't turn on.  There is no pattern to the blinking.  It just blinks continuously.

Has anyone had this problem and more importantly fixed it?

I'm new on this site.I have this same problem with this same model. Did anyone ever come up with a solution?
Continuous blinking from timer/standby. Unplugged for 24 hours, when I plug it back in I hear a click like power on maybe and then I hear it again like power off
