robleff- Is this remote from a TV, if so what model? When you say that you what to know how to use the remote with the DVD player? Did you program the DVD's code and it doesn't work? I couldn't find your remote, but this procedure might work, on the remote:
Press Code Set, then press DVD then enter, then before you use it press the DVD button.
If you don't have a code for that DVD player, try al the codesl-or if that doesn't work, call Sony-they might have one that works.

robleff- I'm not at home now to see if I have one in my book. Try to use all the DVD player codes in the manual-no matter what model they are for. If not try to give Sony a call.
