If you could purchase the 50WE610 or the 50XBR800 at the same price, which one would you choose?

I'd take the 610. The brights are brighter and the darks are darker. Overall, this year's set has a better picture.
Plus I like the cabinet design better.

I got the 50WE610. Its cheaper, has a few more features, better picture, newer cabinet style, and is the next generation of the LCD projection TV's.

I also got the 610, which is this year's model compared to last year's XBR.
By the way, I found a lot of reflection on the XBR, none on the 610.

50WE610 for sure. I just purchased one 2 months ago, and the brightness and colors are great. No issues yet.
