I think the Europeans and Asians are in a much better position to optimistic about the future of MD.
Other than the professional products, Sony's US MD line is pretty dismal. We no longer get the ES or QS decks. Thank goodness for Japanese grey-market stuff. . .
BTW Skeck, I think SoundForge will normalize .MP3 . . . if not you might be able to import, normalize as .wav and export again . . .
