Hello to all Sony fans! As it can be clearly noticed that this is my first post to this great forum and I would like to post some questions I have in mind since I got an owner of a KV-29LS60E TV Set, so be loose The questions may seem stupid to some of you Sony experts however there are no other people that may know so much things like you. So let's get to the subject.
Recently I bought a S-video to S-video cable and a S-video to Scart Adapter so as to be able to connect my DVD system (DAV-S550) to the Scart connector of the TV to improve the picture I used to get with the Composite cable. To my surprise I noticed that the picture I got following the above configuration was B/W. However when I connected the S-video cable to the AV3 S-video input of the TV I got a perfect coloured picture. I searched through the net and I found that KV-29LS60E cannot accept S-video signals through either AV1 or AV2 inputs. It can accept only Composite and RGB signals on both scart inputs. So I wanted to ask if there is a way (through the service menu maybe) to enable S-video inputs through AV1 or AV2 scart inputs.
Sorry for the long post. I would appreciate it if I got an answer to my question.
Thanks in advance...
