I have a used Sony PFM-50C1 Plasma monitor available for parts and/or? The monitor recently began displaying a small black bar on the left lower quadrant of the screen. As it is out of warranty, I am not going to repair/service. Rather, as I paid almost $10k for this monitor years ago, than throw it away, I figured I would offer it for sale to the good folks here at agoraquest...the unit works fine, less the small black bar - my guess is it could be used as is or used for parts/service. If interested, let me know...as it is going to the dump if no takers. I am willing to let it go for dirt cheap + shipping.

    Best,
    Craig

    Hi Craig

I have the same monitor with black strips appear on the top left corner. I try to fix it by replacing circuit boards inside. How much it will be to dismantl the monitor and sell me the circuit boards? Thanks.

    Ye

    Hi Ye,

I have no idea how much, nor how to dismantle. I am just looking to quickly move this by overing it to fellow agorquest members on the cheap, or it is off to the dump (shudder..).

    Best,
    Craig

If he doesn't respond, there are a couple of places where you can get parts. I saw one at

Sorry, I got rid of it over the weekend (it pained me so to toss a $10k monitor...ugh).

    Best,
    Craig
