    It was on their website for the longest time showing "Coming Soon", "Available this summer"... Not any longer.

    This was supposed to be Sony's only "backlit" offering. Did they kill it? Why?

    This just in...  for those who care, Sony just release details on their 3D televisions including the
    XBR-52HX909 (having Intelligent Dynamic LED backlight with full array local dimming).
