SONY PLASMA PFM-42V1 Black Bars Problem |

| Help please my Sony Plasma PFM-42V1 display
There are 2 black bars appeared that run vertically from top to bottom in a perfect straight line about 2 inches thick (each of them). It occurs even when i turn on. If anyone experience or have knowlege about this model. Your help would be wonderful. my email is clicking here)

try to unplug from the wall outlet for a few minutes and plug again and see if it goes away.

Hello,
in this case one of the driver IC´s would have exploded.
They are located on the flexible PCB´s to the PDP and most of the time you can easily see that one or more IC´s are exploded.
The flexible PCB´s are electrical connected to the glass panel in a special way which cannot be repaired in a ´normal´ CTV workshop.
