    Hello guys, I've searched almost all the topics in this site before asking this:



    how can I control my directv rca receiver and my philco vcr from my sony remote RMY180? I've just bought a KV29FS100 and in the users manual there are codes for sony equipments only.



    Please, if you know where I can find theses codes tell me!

    Can you tell me how to program my sony remote, the same one you got (rm-y180) to work with my rca directtv reciever? Please help me, Ive been looking for a way on the net and haven't found out how to. Please show me how. Thanks very much.

    Programming the Remote Control

    1 Check the list of “Manufacturer’s Codes” on page 6 and find the three-digit code number for the manufacturer of your component. If more than one code number is listed, use the number listed first.
    2 Press CODE SET.
    3 Press or FUNCTION button to indicate the type of component you want to program with the remote control.
    4 Use the buttons to enter the three-digit manufacturer’s code number.
    5 Press ENTER
    6 To check if the code number works, aim the TV’s remote control at the component and press on the green POWER button (VCR/DVD, SAT/CABLE, TV) that corresponds with that component. If it responds, you are done. If not try using another code listed for that manufacturer
