| Television Configura... | Help!! - How can I switch my TV from PAL I to PAL | Hi Borabora, when I entered service mode it did say TT-- on the screen so hopefully I can switch country as you suggest - but I'll have to wait 8-10 weeks before i get a chance to find out. | Television Configura... | Help!! - How can I switch my TV from PAL I to PAL | Hi again Borabora, I open the TV up again - this time I had real difficulties putting it back together and thought I'd broken it permanently but after about an hour of fidling I managed to get it back together in 1 piece thank god. The tuner on it did not have any of the serial numbers you mentioned - instead the title on the circuit board of the tuner (connected to the metal box) read: Tuner 1F Sony A B (1-716-684-13) underneath this it read: 1-673-314-13 Elsewhere another circuit had a label which read: BA010 CTV software A diff .. |
| Television Configura... | Help!! - How can I switch my TV from PAL I to PAL | Hi Borabora, I've open up the telly (I was scared I might not be able to put it back together again but luckily it still works!) The labels inside the TV say it is KV32FX20B so I guess that means there must be someway of changing the PAL setting right? I've tried every single option and submenu on the user menu and none of them have anything that could let me change the country of installation. I guess that must mean I need to do some kind of adjustment to the service menu? or is it possible that there is no possible way of changing the PAL setting? .. |

| Television Configura... | Help!! - How can I switch my TV from PAL I to PAL | Hi Borabora, There is no option for 'installation' in any of the user menus that I can access. There is a menu section entitled 'PRESET' which has submenus entitled - autoprogramme - manual programme preset - further programme preset - AV label preset - programme sorting - parental lock - language - picture rotation I can adjust the language but there is no choice of country for installation under the manual programming preset submenu I can adjust the system but only to 'I' do you have any other ideas about how i .. |
