Television Installat...NEW BRAVIA INTERNET VIDEO LINKI wish this would allow streaming from a Local PC. I have a MediaSmart Server and this would have been perfect.
DVDDVP-CX777ES Playback issues on new HDTVWow its been quite a while since i have been on the forum. Im happy to announce that I a done with school. Crappy timing on my part hahaha ! Economy sucks. For Graduation my girlfriend got me a   KDL-46Z4100/B. Its a nice TV compared to the one I had before with the UHF knob (not Joking hahaha). Ok now on to my concern, I have it all hooked up and went to watch a movie on it and got some strance issues. I was watching Will and grace season 1 the first 2 episodes and noticed some things out of place. in the first 5 minutes There were lines across an eyebrow where it looked like it was ..
DVDDVP-CX777ES: Firmware 1.600 ??School got really really busy and I havent had time to call sony in regards to this upgrade. I was wondering if anyone has experiance with this? I wanted to know if it changes anything at all.
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Sony RC-70 Cablethanks guys for all your help. I found the cable that i needed. some saw my need and was more then gracious to help me out.
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Sony RC-70 Cablewell here is what I sent in an email to a few retailers: The RC-70 audio/video adapter has an 8-pin male mini-DIN plug on one end, and there are 3 female RCA connectors (2 audio connections and 1 composite video connection) on the other. The adapter can be used to convert the 8-pin mini-DIN output of Sony's XT-40V TV tuner into female RCA audio and video connections, or it can be connected to the female 8-pin mini-DIN input found on the Sony XVM-50, XVM-60, XVM-80 and XVM-90 mobile video monitors, allowing them to accept audio and video input from A/V sources with RCA outputs. ..
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Sony RC-70 CableI was wondering if anyone know where i can get a RC-70 cable. I need one for a car install of a TV tuner. I know this might be the wrong section to post this in, I am sorry for that.
DVDDVP-CX777ES: Firmware 1.600 ??Has anyone done this? I was wondering if noticed anyother changes?
DVDDVP-CX777ES: Firmware 1.600 ??I emailed Sony and explained the shut down issue and asked about the upgrade. they didnt say that the new firmware was even out. does anyone know if it is true? do we need to send the unit in? that is going to be a hassle finding somewhere to store 400 DVD's
DVDDVP-CX777ESBThanks guys!! I figured that out yesterday just was not able to reply. I am hoping I will be able to get another silver one in the next month. that is if they still have one. I am not fond of the black color.
DVDDVP-CX777ESBNo this is not a typo on my part. I noticed this on one calls site. does anyone know anything about a new ES multi changer coming out? DVP-CX777ES http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?sHist=12-53&menu=true&Page=-1&prodList=32604,20661http%3a%2f%2fwww.yahoo.com%2f&id=20661 DVP-CX777ESB http://www.onecall.com/ProductDetails.aspx?sHist=12-53&menu=true&Page=-1&prodList=32604,20661http%3a%2f%2fwww.yahoo.com%2f&id=32604
Getting Started/Buil...To Buy or Not to Buy? 7100ESToli, I found that out when I was looking at sets. had my eye on a 50-60 sony that would have been sweet. then I hit the research stage of the purchase and found that out and became very disappointed. I figured i could not afford a TV with 1080P for a while so I am not going to do the upgrade for some time. it is kinda killing me right now as I am going to college and am using a TV that still has the UHF dial on it. makes me cry when I see my 777es right next to it. I hope all the money that I am spending at Walla Walla college makes up for being poor for the next year and a hal ..
DVDIs Sony going down?doesnt the 955 or the 975 support DIvx? also these players have the brushed alum face right?
DVDDoes CX985V Playback DVD-R DL?that is not true I believe they are the same size adn I have DL in my 777ES and have no problem. also upon looking at them I can not see any diffrence in those, cd, or regular DVDs
Getting Started/Buil...To Buy or Not to Buy? 7100ESI can wait an see I am not in that big of a hurry. I am extremely disappointed that Sony ES will no longer be silver though. I thought the silver looked more high class then the black.
Getting Started/Buil...To Buy or Not to Buy? 7100ESSorry maxx my real question was will the str da9000es be worth buying or should I get the 7100 or even the 9100 when i find a good price. with everything going 1080P will the 9000es hold me back?
Getting Started/Buil...To Buy or Not to Buy? 7100ES Since everything is going 1080P sooner or later (bluray PS3 ect...) would it be a waste to pick up the 9000es or should I wait for the 9100es if it is ever released? I have been looking at TV an decided to wait since none of the Sony's accept 1080P yet.
DVDDVP-777ES Shut-Down Fix?This happens on mine also not too annoying still love the unit. the only issue that is irratating is when it does it after loading a new DVD the player no longer recognizes the slot so I have to open take the DVD out then put it back in. pointless wear and tear on unit.
DVDDVP-CX777ES: Latest 1.520 Firmware now availableNow that is what I am talking about. I hope this updates the Disc Explorer and gives us some of the functionallity that the new changer has. If anyone does this let me know what the diffrence is.
Other (Tape, Short W...Sony in your Car?finally got the xt-40V and the xa-d211 now I need the screen and the xa-300 and I am done and ready to install my system just the way that I want.
DVDdvp-cx777es Power IssuesI have the same issue that Surgeon described . powers off then power back on works great. very intermittent could be weeks or months between and not dependant on how much I use it. I can run it all day no problem then next time could run for 15 min and shuts off
