| | Forum | Topic | Post Text | | Television Troublesh... | Sony KF50we610 Troubleshooting | Both... however in the picture for the way to dress the HV wires you can see how the hvdet wire lays across the lamp ballast and my wire runs accordingly.. i was just making sure that i was reading the diagram right ,,, One more note i suppose.. the red hv wires than run from the ballast to the back of the bulb on tv seem to be longer then the ones in the dressing image so i had to have more loopyness i guess is the word... not alot longer but enough so that i cant tape them down smooth to the wall like that.. not sure how that would effect anything but then im not 100% sure why tapin .. | | Television Troublesh... | Sony KF50we610 Troubleshooting | I have been working on this tv for about a week now and have tried several different things and would like any opinions on what a good course of action would be at this point. So a little history first, I got the tv from a friend he said he replaced the lamp (not sure how long he had the tv before he did this) and then about six months later it got the 5 blinks which meant the lamp ballast needed to be replaced but lacked the ability to fix it. The tv sat in his house for 5-6 months after that until I got it.
