Is there any noticable differences between DRC (Digital Reality Creation) and DRC VI? Is the only difference is that the DRC VI is adjustable? DRC VI is found on the XBR800 series and HV600 series. I am considering the HS500 series TV but the HV and XBR offer DRC VI and HD Detailer. Is this something that would be worth the upgrade? Any input is welcome. I am considering purchasing the KV32HS500 and would like some advice about correcting the common pitfalls of the WEGA TV's. I currently have a 27FS100 but I'm returning it due to the horizontal lines not being level. When I adjust the bottom horizontal line to level using the "tilt" feature, the top line is off. I looked at the 32HS500 in the store and noticed some bowing of the image along the bottom. My question is would ISF calibration solve some of these issues? I guess it would be worth the money if after it is done everything was displayed properly level and straight. ..
I am not sure what happened to my original post. My Sony Wega 27FS100 does not display the entire image (cuts off portion of the screen on top, bottom and sides) and is most noticable on the CNN ticker where the bottom part of the letters are below the viewable area. There was a previous post that explained how to get in to the service menu to correct my problem. However, I have been unsuccessful thus far getting in to the menu. The instructions do not work for me. Does anyone know how to do this or can let me know what I'm doing wrong? Here is what I've tried. 1. Pus ..
