The stand on the HQ 100 has two positions low and as seen in the photo. To get the low position you need to fit a smaller bar. This smaller bar comes in the box. My installer removed it with the box and I had to call them back to fit it. On ther low seeting you can get at least 3 boxes under the set. It an elegant stand and looks great with the set Perfection
Does anyone know where I Can get a copy of this manual or has anyone got some useful service codes that work with it,eg adjusting the convergence,switching on and off digital motion, hours set is in use etc
Has any one got a problem of lack of convergence and a green tinge on left hand side of screen. Sky menu appears dirty on left hand side in comparison to pure white writing in centre. This is paricularly noticeable on the memory stick menu where the writing on left hand side is spread and green in colour instead of what I suppose should be black. The set also seems to have a problem with contrast. No matter what settings I use on certain programme material the picture seems too dark. I am trying to buy a 36 inch tele and have been waiting for the KV-36HQ to be released in Ireland for some months. Finally it is released and is selling for €2799,€320 under reecommended retail price. However as many have commented the picture is disappointing. I do not consider it is as good as the picture on my 13 year old Sony KV-E2912. I find the faces on say Sky news in a studio shot "blobby" with poor definition. The pictire looks artificial like it has been through a booster amplifier. Also there are rings around moving people as I think a few people like Hannibal have notice ..
