| | Forum | Topic | Post Text | | Television Troublesh... | seven blinks and won't turn on | Hi we have a Sony KV-36HS500 that was manufactured in August of 2002. For the past couple of weeks (at most three) we have been having issues turning on the tv... you'd push the button and the standby would blink, then if you pushed power again everything was all good. I didn't count the blinks at that time because I thought the issue was with a new universal remote we had gotten. This morning all we get is seven blinks, a pause, and then seven blinks... no sound or picture. What does this mean? What can we do to cure the tv?
