Amp/Receiver/Speaker...STRDE-985 Video Question.Hello, Typically I run all my components video straight to the tv, and sound straight to the reciever, however, my xbox's wires are to short they get tripp'd over and the dog chews em' whatever. Ive run s-video into the reciever, and s-video outa reciever to tv and it works. What im trying to do, and cant get to work is s-video into reciever, and component video out to television. Ive tried all different set-up but still cant get to work. Anyone know if it's even possible ? I have xbox plug'd into Video 3, the one in the front. Thanks, C. [ This message ..

MD/CD/SACDSony CD STRDE985Morning..... Here it is....... appreciate the help. Were you involved with that terrible traffic in NY yesterday ?
MD/CD/SACDSony CD STRDE985sweet, after removing (looking from the top) the triangular bracket witch goes from top of case all the way to bottom, probally about 6 screws two of them being located on very long legs extending from the bracket. then move the cd reader and holder outa the way. the piece im speaking of is held into place with two screws. facing the units its located just in front of a circle piece of plastic with grooves going around it, it has one screw in the middle holding it down. this is sorta hard so ill upload you a photo tommarow morning.... cool NJ, so were in the same time zone. ..
MD/CD/SACDSony CD STRDE985 thanks for helping me....... but no if your facing the unit its in the back left.. under the the metal bracket that holds the cd reader and the cd holder. it's white plastic with one spring on the end facing the carasel. one end of it slide's into a grove that grabs the cd from the carasel, the other end also has a pin that rides in slot that reminds me of a "screw" with the way the grove is, its sorta like threads on a screw. if this dosent help ill try again..... actually it does sorta have an arc shape to it.....but i think your talking about the part, that my broken ..
