| | Forum | Topic | Post Text | | Amp/Receiver/Speaker... | STR-KSL50 receiver in protect mode. | I have picked up a HT-SL50 home theater setup from a friend and have been using it connected to the computer to listen music. Yesterday the receiver, a STR-KSL50, went into protect mode a couple of times but switching it off and on again sorted it out. Today it went into protect mode and will not come out, even with all wires disconnected and completely removing power. I have reset both the system setup and sound field setup to factory defaults. I read quite a bit about protect mode on various websites but haven't found anything really useful.
