Hi guys, thanks for your replies.Trying a cleaning disc was my thought,as it makes sense to go through a "process of elimination".I was told it would be a waste of money so I haven't but do you know what I will give it a try.The prices fluctuate alot with these discs and some have suggested NOT to use cleaning solutions rather just the cd with a brush on it. I will let you know the result as soon many thanks
Hello, I have a DVP NV900S,which I love to bits but it has stopped playing dvd/cd's with"cannot play" in the display. I have spoken to a few people and the general thought is that the laser has burnt out. I want to keep this player and if it is the case of the laser burning out, where can I source a new part as it looks rather easy to replace rather than pay £150-200 to repair? Your thoughts would be most helpful Thanks
