Damn these optimistic Indians. If the world was that easy....
Sony Assist manuals are encrypted (protected with the user/open password) which means you cannot open them with Adobe Acrobat Reader outside Sony Assist engine in your browser. Leaving details of alternate techniques aside, I am wondering if anyone has been able to figure out the password for those files ?
So I can't read the message someone sent me until I write 100 posts or subscribe ? Isn't that a bit awkward ? I mean does the sender get notified that the recipient won't be able to read his PM ?
If you are unable to locate the user manual for this set then look for the service manual. The service manual for Sony KV-28HX15U contains the user manual as it's 1st chapter.
I do. I would still like some help with the manual abbreviations. I think I was wrong about the E meaning Europe. Seems like E means EXPORT and AEP relates to Europe. I would still like to know for sure, and also about PX, etc. [ This message was edited by: Swiwer on 2010-03-08 20:57 ]

However when I try to enter the mailbox and read the message, I get denied with a message saying something like "this is for Premium members and members with over 100 posts". Does that mean I can't read messages other people send me ? I was considering registering to premium but would like to know about this issue first. Being a premium member you can send messages to other members but if regular members (which are surely a majority) can't read them then wehre's the point ? Thanks for the a ..

For example I often see AEP, PX, E, US, Canadian, UK, etc. I guess E would be European, US would be United States, Canadian would be Canadian but I have no idea about AEP or PX. Anyone knows ? BTW, I think that Sony Assist has hundreds of manuals/updates each month so posting one new Sony manual somewhere is a drop in the ocean. For example a month or two worth of updates: Service Manual updates (2510 new manuals) Technical Bulletin updates (28693 new bu ..

Hi all. Not everybody wants to give out web password. So I think we can add ourselves to MSN and when we need a service manual we ask eachother. I already have a few people who help me and if there are more of us there is bigger chance we can get a manual for eachother. So, if any of you people have web service accounts or a big collection of service manuals and want to trade then please contact me on MSN. My contact ID is perplexerATpassport.com I have web access to SONY ESI, Pioneer, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, etc etc etc ......
I have the service manual for Sony FH-B50CD and Sony KP-46S15.
