Has anyone any links to how to do the job or even first hand experience : eg what drive to get and then how to get the system to accept the newdrive, any hints on how to pull the old data of onto the new drive. Why would the SATA cable be faulty? as all it is is a mechanical connection that is etherconnect correctly or it isn't and there are no moving or volatile parts?
