For those 4 years I used the HD Moster brand cables. I replaced the HD cables with the HDMI cable. Immeditely, I noticed that my picture wasn't as bright as before. Then about 3 weeks later I had the exact same issue that you posted above. (lights blinking and tv restart etc.) I ordered a new lamp from SONY. (around $200) I also ordered the thermal fuse. I now suspect that not all of the internal fans are wor .. | | Television Troublesh... | Locating the thermal fuse in KDF-60WF655 | I'm having the same problem (6 blinking lights with my KDF-55WF655 tv) and possibly a fan issue. I had a blank screen. I unplugged the tv for a while then started the tv back up. It's working for now. Another thing that I found that was interesting was that the fan in the back isn't working as well as it was before this problem. I can hear the fan, but It doesn't seem to be making as much noise as before. I always clean the vent in back, so that's not the issue.
