I discovered a bad solder joint on the board attached to the back of the tube. The bad solder joint was at the point where the the white wire from the flyback transformer connects to the board. It has the intermittent blinking 6-7 light problem that I have been reading about, so I am going to replace the two mcz3100d IC's. The set works if I unplug it for several hours and plug it back in. I took out the D board, and the replacement of the IC's looks doable. I have some soldering experience, and I have found enough info. to help me out. Here is the first question.
