Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

Television TroubleshootingKDF70XBR950 Blinking Green After New Optical Blockwizzleteets112013-05-22 22:48
First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony KDF70XBR950 that had a failed optical block. I had the optical block repaired professionally and reinstalled it. When I turn the TV on, the green power/standby light flashes about once per second indefinitely. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and checked all connections again, but it is still doing the same thing. All the fans power up, but the bulb never comes on. I went ahead and replaced the bulb but it didn't change anything. Sorry if this has already been covered, but I've read so many different threads I can't tell up from down. &

First 650 characters of this postI really hope someone can help me out.I have soldering experience but not so much experience with TVs. I always wanted the Ferrari of CRTs the XBR800 and I got one last week. It's the 40 inches model but I knew it was defective. The tv would power on with cold boot, this means, hooking it up at the wall socket and powering it on but would not power on if you turn off and try to turn it on again. The error was the 6 blinks of death code. So this is related to IC8002 and IC8501.So after reading a lot online I swapped the ICs from brand n

First 650 characters of this postIs it easy to replace the Power Block (Part # 1-468-510-15) for my 10 year old KF50XBR800 SONY Wega TV?  If so, how can I obtain a service manual?  I think I found the part at https://servicesales.sel.sony.com/ecom/accessories/web/productSearch.do for $335.69.  Other sites I have found are not much cheaper. Now the question I have is, don't I need to remove the transistors to be able to check for resistance?  No.  We are looking for a short circuit in both directions.  That means use the lowest resistance range on your multi-meter, for example, 10 ohms.  There is a short if the resistance is less than 1 ohm.  A resistance of ~ 8 ohm in one direction and infinite in the opposite direction is normal for a base to emitter or base to col

First 650 characters of this postThanks for the reply! Well, like I said the guy I got it from is by no means a appliance repair man, so that was just his guess. There doesn\'t seem to be any visual signs of overheating where the lamp assembly is inserted into the set, so maybe we can assume a fan replacement is unnecessary. I\'m leaning towards purchasing a new lamp. jehill, you mentioned purchasing a genuine Sony replacement lamp assembly priced at 227Euro. What am I accomplishing by doing this? The lamps I\'ve looked at are from $35-$200 and they include the lamp housing. I\'m assuming I\'m purchasing quality, an
