Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postBrian,Greetings and Welcome!I am not familiar with the VGN-PCV W1/G model but do any lights come on on the front of the monitor? I am trying to determine if it is a monitor problem or is it a case of the monitor not receiving the video signal to turn it on. Any chance of using a video out with another known good monitor to check the video signal?Joe

First 650 characters of this postsamz2121,Greetings and welcome. I know that this is not what you want to hear but if you do need a new mother board and also a new hard drive it would be more cost effective to replace them with non Sony parts. Most Vaio mother boards are $400 (US) by themselves. If you are capable of replacing the mother board, processor (CPU) and hard drive your self you can do it much cheaper by using other brands besides Sony.
