| First 650 characters of this post | When one thinks of quality home theater projectors, few brands cometo mind. Sony, JVC and Panasonic are some that do. Sanyo, on the otherhand, may not be on one's short list. However, they've been makinghigh-quality, affordable home theater projectors for years. Theirlatest offering, the PLV-Z3000 reviewed here, is no exception.Retailing for $2,999 - though depending on where you shop, that figuremay be much lower - the PLV-Z3000 is among the most affordablefull-featured 1080p projectors in the marketplace today. | Television Troubleshooting | Bright White Jagged Line at top of Screen? | egruber | 10 | 2009-04-03 12:57 |
| First 650 characters of this post | We just bought a 32 inch 720p Sony Bravia LCD. We have it connected to a Verizon Fios DVR with an HDMI cable. I noticed that on HD channels broadcasting a 4:3 image that there is often a thin white jagged line running across the top of the image. I don't see it on SD channels. And 16:9 images on the same channels look fine. It's almost like the vertical size needs to be stretched a tiny bit. The TV menu lets you adjust the vertical centering, but it is not available on the HDMI input. Any idea what this is? Is it an |

| First 650 characters of this post | Xbr800 series came out after xbr700 series. Xbr700 does not have DVI or HDMI which is a big issue now days considering all these upscaling, Blue ray players on the market. There is no DRC in xbr700 series either, so even for SD the xbr800s are a better sets. There are also some other image enhancements for HD sources that xbr700 series lack in comparison to xbr800 series like HD detailer and improved VSM. Also, the outside is a bit different between the two. Below are pictures of both models |

| Projector Series | SONY VPL-HW10 review | dragon53 | 1 | 2009-02-04 14:40 |
| First 650 characters of this post | It never ceases to amaze me how front-projection display quality continues to progress, while simultaneously dropping in price. Even the normally premium-priced line from Sony now has a very attractively-priced 1080p resolution SXRD projector, the recently introduced VPL-HW10, which starts the line just below the VPL-VW60. The new VPL-VW70 replaces the venerable "Ruby," or VPL-VW100, introduced a couple of years ago. Carrying a list price of $3,500, the VPL-HW10 is the least expensive SXRD Sony has yet introduced. It is not just a re-badged VPL-VW60 either. In fact, the new HW10 is superior in |

| First 650 characters of this post | IntroductionSony’s latest top-of-the-line front projector effectively replaces thecompany’s original flagship SXRD projector, the Qualia 004. The newVPL-VW200 is not only superior in performance to the original statementpiece, but also half its price. It is amazing how quickly things changein the world of video. The VPL-VW200 is a three-panel LCoS (LiquidCrystal on Silicon)-based unit with a native resolution of 1080p.Probably the most impressive aspect of its performance, once you haveit set up properly, is its color accuracy. In fact, it is the mostcolor accurate front |

| First 650 characters of this post | Welcome to Agoraquest! For the kp-65ws500, 5 flashes, pause, 5 flashes, etc. means \"White Balance Failure\" and the probable causes listed are as follows:1. Video OUT (IC7101, IC7201, IC7301) is faulty (CR, CG, CB boards)2. CRT drive (IC309) is faulty (A board)3. Screen (G2) is improperly adjusted. These are starting points for a qualified service technician. Since you are having a \"red\" problem, I would check IC7101 on the CR (Color Red) board. Its also possible that the red drive adjustment pot is dirty and needs to be exerci |

| Television Troubleshooting | Thin Vertical White Lines (More Prominent On The Left Side) On My 26M3000 LCD HDTV | DavBen | 3 | 2008-01-10 19:54 |
| First 650 characters of this post | Does anyone know why I see thin vertical white lines (more prominent on the left side) on our new 26M3000 LCD HDTV? I was in the electronics department of a store today and noticed that some of the displays there showed these lines much more pronounced than what I am seeing on our HDTV while other displays showed none of these lines as far as I could see. I can say that all of our TVs (the other two are analog but can show the HDTV channels, letterboxed, because of the cable converter boxes that we have) show these lines when the HDTV channel goes to a SD display (during |
