Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingWarranty with 3rd party questionShredda62009-11-02 11:55
First 650 characters of this postI recently started having issues with my KDF46E2000 (yellowish band near the top), and called Sony about it and they offered to replace the TV with a 46" Bravia S series for $400 CDN (which I took them up on their offer for). When I asked what to do with the old TV, they said I could dispose of it or do whatever I wished to with it. However, yesterday the old set also started to shutdown and power light started blinking in 3 blink intervals (on top of the yellow band at the top of the screen.) I switched the cooling option to high and it seems to have "fixed" things for now.  However

First 650 characters of this postHi, Our KP57WS520 TV blinks 5 times and doesn't turn on. I was watching a movie and TV suddendly turned off by itself and then when I try to turn it on, LED light blinks 5 times and doesn't turn on. Its strange because last time when I had 9 blinking issue, LED light keeps on blinking with short rest after 9 blinks until I turn it off but this time after 5 blinks it turns itself automatically. So I'm not really sure if its 5 blinks or less because TV usually blink at least once when turning on. When I turn on the TV, LED blinks two times and I hear 'cl

First 650 characters of this postHello All: I have a 2+ yr old KDF-E60A20.  The lamp blew with a loud pop.  A few small pieces of bulb glass actually came out of the chassis molding when I removed it.  I had changed the lamp about 1yr ago and got it to work like new.  However this time around after changing the lamp I get no picture at all.  The TV tries to turn on and the fan engages but quickly turns off after about 20secs.  No intermittent picture.  Then I get the 3 red blinking lights. Can anyonbe diagnose the problem?  Could it be

First 650 characters of this postSo here's the deal.  I have had this television for about 4 years now and I love it.Today I was playing xbox360 on it and after about 15 minutes of being on it just shuts off.  Then I turn it on, thinking maybe I hit the sleep timer and didn't see it or something.  Then it happens again.....and again and again.  It stays on for 15 minutes or so and then shuts off.  The screen picture slowly fades for a couple seconds and then the television itself turns off followed by 6 red blinking lights.  What is this???  I l

First 650 characters of this postI have a KDF-55WF655. I can turn it on and I get both picture and sound for a minute or two the the set shuts down with a blinking green light for a minute or so then turns back on. This repeats until I hit the power button. Sometimes I get 5 flashing red lights after I power down, which I've found in this forum to be a problem with the Power Supply Block (146887511).Even though I still get a picture, my lamp is sitting at 8652 hours so I've decided to replace that first. I was going to hold off on ordering the Power Supply Block until after I swap out the Lamp, unless someone thin

First 650 characters of this postHello, I've been having trouble with my 2 year old 40" Sony Bravia XBR2 LCD TV.   When I try to turn the TV on, only the LED and the blue "SONY" light come on.  The screen remains completely blank.  Sometimes it will then turn off and back on by itself (all of this happens without the LED blinking).  After many many on/off clicks, the TV eventually turns on and operates fine with no problems. A repair man I called is guessing it's the power supply panel.  And they're saying replacing the whole panel (they don

First 650 characters of this postSome added clarification for those of you experiencing the following:* TV video shuts off and green standby/power light blinks green continuously.* TV video turns back on a blinking stops.* Cycle repeats.* Audio stays on throughout. My fix was to replace the bulb, following the instructions in the owners manual and using Sony's parts/replacements/service website, searching on the model number of the TV itself (NOT the bulb part number). Total time to replace bulb: 10 minutes. This worked for me. Hope this information is helpful to oth

First 650 characters of this postAbout 3 weeks ago, our 2 year old KDF-E42A10 started shutting itselfoff with a blinking standby light (just a continuous blink, i think wecounted 4.It started at once a day, then got up to several times per hour.Thinking the lamp was dying, we ordered a replacement lamp.  This did not solve the problem. We've also tried different wall outlets/different surge protectors.I'mthinking it's some kind of heat issue, because when you first turn iton, it runs for a long time (sometimes up to an hour),

First 650 characters of this postHave had this stinker for for just under 5 months now, and boy I am HOT! First it was the green vertical lines, Sony gave me a tech company name and they came out, kept the tv for 2 weeks, replaced the panel and brought it back. last night,(two weeks after getting the tv back mind you), the tv turns itself off and the standby light starts blinking six times, over and over again. My understanding is that this is a panel problem, but the panel is NEW, the TV is NEW, and if they have to replace the panel AGAIN, I want to know if SONY will give me my money back

First 650 characters of this postThe power/standby button blinks green and the TV has no picture or sound except for a few seconds then it turns off again. The last time this happened we changed the bulb and it was a year ago and it was a sony original from sonystyles and it fixed the problem. We were thinking it shouldn't be the bulb since it was replaced a year ago and the one that came with the TV lasted 3 years. We took the bulb out and it did not look burned out. The thin thread-looking thing inside the lamp was still attached. The only thing the manual tells you about the blinking green light is that it means the lamp for

First 650 characters of this postNewbie alert! - if I haven't provided info, my apologies, just ask and I will try and provide. I have read here that the 4 lights are a fan/cooling problem. I had some techs to the house to estimate the repair and they messed around in the back a bit and  recall one of them inserting a screwdriver into the back and moving it up and down - I now realize he was probably spinning one of the fans. One near the lamp I think as the one in the middle seems fine. After they left, saying they would get back to me, the TV mi

First 650 characters of this postHi,  I'm new to this forum and have read through several threads regarding projection LCD TVs and blinking led lights, but i didn't come across one similar to mine.  I have a KDF50WE655.  It turns on fine, but after about 30 or 40 seconds, the LCD lamp goes out and the power/standby light blinks green.  It blinks exactly 29 times before the lamp comes back on with the 30th blink.  The power/standby light blinks another 7 times before going to solid green.  After about 30 or 40 seconds the sequence repeats exactly the same.

First 650 characters of this postIt turned off while viewing and started blinking red 4, maybe 5 times...I counted but it stopped so fast and I just wasn't sure.  I have unplugged the box and let it sit but all it does is the same thing, if you turn it on, it goes to a blinking green light, buzzes but never turns on, just keeps blinking green. The buzz is actually coming from a bulb looking thing in the back with the word EPSCO on it about 1" tall and 1/2" wide (I removed the back plate only for viewing...this is the first time its ever been opened). I cannot get error codes to come up on it,

About 30 seconds later the picture comes back on and the sound follows it about 10 seconds back on as well. This is a constant process that keeps happening 1 minute on and 30 seconds off. During this whole time while this is going on my green light is constantly on to show that I still have power going to the TV. I dont have any blinking or red lights that indicate any possible codes that it can be. Has anyone had A problem like this and what can I do to fix this pr
