Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  You should have placed your post in the Television Troubleshooting forum, but it\'s too late now.  For the KDL52XBR5, 5 blinks, pause, 5 blinks, etc. means T-CON error.  The TCON board is no longer available from Sony.  If there is a fuse on your TCON board, replace it if it is bad.  If not, I would suggest contacting for a replacement.  Look for a 9 digit Sony part number on the TCON board in the format XXXXXXXXX OR X-XXX-XXX-XX.  You need to get that befor

First 650 characters of this postI have a little update, I think that the 9 flashes were a false symptom of a connector being slightly unplugged. Now the nine flash problem to gone away. Unfortunately I still have no picture but can hear sound. The backlight is on but no picture. I have been reading that the problem could be the tcon board, any insight on this? Thanks in advance.

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  The LCD panel number specified is actually the LCD panel code, probably the subcontractor\'s part number, and it isn\'t listed in the LCD Panel Code to Sony Part Number Cross Reference table where the TCON board part number is listed.  I would take a chance on the replacement TCON board you found, since it is listed for the same panel number.  What other choice do you have?
Television TroubleshootingSony LED Tv light flashes six times.jehill42014-01-09 16:13
First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  Unfortunately, I do not have access the service manual for the KLV-42EX410.  The closest I have is for the US model KDL-40EX400.  For that model, 6 blinks, pause, 6 blinks, etc. means \"Backlight Error\" and the possible location is the LCD panel.  If you are lucky, there is a TCON board attached to the LCD panel.  See if there is a fuse on the TCON board that may be blown.

First 650 characters of this postExhibits 14 blinks error code. Found 3amp ceramic fuse on TCon board blown. Replaced fuse and tried T again with both panel connectors not connected on top of Tcon board. Screen lights with dark grey picture and green led power light on. Powered TV off reconnected both panel connectors this time after a few seconds with green led lit error code 14 starts flashing again. Found that attaching the panel connectors caused the fuse to blow again. Is it likely its a bad tcon or more likely a bad panel thats causing this fault?? Anybody any ideas?? Grateful for any comments.[ T

First 650 characters of this post"KDL-52W3000 first vertical blue band, now grainy on start up, but disappears later"After reading through a couple threads I found a couple that was similar to mine but not quite the same so I figured I would post...This started about a month ago (had TV since 2006)...first, a vertical blue band would appear on the right side of the screen on start up.  Once picture shows, then the picture has a more blue tint to it but after about 3 minutes, the blue band disappears.  The blue band was more noticeable when I switched inputs.http://i42.ti

First 650 characters of this postI have a 5yo kdl-40v4100 and the picture turned to translucent white, like the ontrast was all the way up. Reset to factory settings, no change. I think it may be the TCon board, the TV serial# is 8227334, would you have the part # for the Tcon board. thanks, bryan

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  Sure, its possible that you purchased and installed the wrong TCON board.  Do you have the service manual?  What is the complete model number of the set?

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  For the KDL52W4100, 14 blinks, pause, 14 blinks, etc. means \"HFR Error\" and the possible location listed is \"LCD Panel\".This is the starting point for a qualified service technician. The \"LCD Panel\" includes the TCON board.  I just consulted the LCD Panels service manual.  According to it, the correct part number for a 81xxxxx series KDL52W4100 TCON CONTROL MT BOARD is 185724011.  The serial number you quoted is not a Sony part number.  The 185724011 part is no longer available form Sony.  When it was availabl
