Welcome to Agoraquest! The solution is simple. Somewhere in the past someone must have used the \"Label Video Inputs\" option described on p-113 of the Operating Instructions to \"Skip\" the input. If you don\'t have the Operating Instructions, go to the \"Setup\" menu and select the toolbox. You will find the \"Label Video Inputs\"option there. |

I now have a HTPC setup for music which is far faster and the convenience is there, too. I understand that many will prefer a PC controlled setup. I like the ability to control HDD music selection by the same remote that I use to control my system. I did test the HDD for audio playback from a BDP |

mbt_junkyard - I am sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. D6301 and D6116 are used with an ordinary 120VAC transformer, not a switch mode power supply.theone777 - You should be able to install a 1N4002 diode in place of both D6301 and D6116. You will just have more difficulty installing one in place of D6116.

The individual transformer type volume controls no doubt do contribute to the problem. Were the transformer volume controls in the circuit with the two ceiling speakers that you had connected to your STR-DA7100ES? |

Congratulations! You fixed it! Interestingly enough, this morning I woke up asking myself, \'When is the headphone relay supposed to be energized\"? According to p-23 of the Operating Instructions, you have to place the SPEAKERS selector in the OFF position to use the headphones, which suggests that\'s the only time RY503 is supposed to be energized. I recall seeing a lot of dust on the MAIN board. If the relay is not supposed to be energized, perhaps dust/contamination is shorting conductor 13 to another conductor that is energized, such as conductor 12 |
