Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postI seem to have an odd ball model Sony and have looked at several problems with other models on this forum that are similar. Last night the TV picture went off and the TV went to standby. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I powered up, the power light flashes green for a while and it sounds like I might have a bad fan. There is a noise like a fan trying to start up which happens about three times. The power light goes off and the standby light comes on and the lamp light flashes red. I have replaced the lamp in the past but am wondering if I have a fuse issue or lamp driver board issue as

First 650 characters of this postI have a KDS-60A2020 which I replaced the lamp with a genuine Sony XL-5200 about 6 months ago (the original went after about 20 months).   The TV was working great until this past weekend.  During a football game, the screen went blank (but sound was still working).  The Power light blinks exactly 29 times and then the screen/lamp will come back on for about 5 seconds and then goes blank again with 29 flashes of the green power light, and repeats over and over (again, sound stays on and I get no red blinks).  If I push the power button during anytime (bl

First 650 characters of this postOk, I have a Sony KP-51HW40 Rear Projection TV.  Right now, there is no picture.  Tv comes on, sound comes on, can change channels and everything, just no picture. The front light flashes 5 times, which i've found what it means.  But do not understand how to translate what it means into things for me to check/look/replace. And couldn't find anyone that had the same problem that had a definite solution  Now this happened about 2 weeks ago.  I opened the back of her up and investigated, checked all the fuses and such, cleane

First 650 characters of this postOur KDF-55WF655 is now restarting itself every 3 minutes or so (in the past it restarted occassionally, but now it's doing so perpetually).  By "restart" I mean the picture goes black, audio shuts off, green light flashes as it normally does when first turned on, then the picture comes back, followed in 2-3 seconds by the audio. The Operating Instructions say the flashing green light means "The lamp for the light source is ready to turn on."  Right.  It was just on!Twice this weekend when the set was turned off, the red light went into a fiv

First 650 characters of this postWe are having the exact same problem.  Our Sony KDF-E42A10 started shutting off randomly.  The green standby light flashes 48 times than it comes back on.  Never get a RED blinking light.  It got to where it was doing it every couple of minutes - very annoying.  We went through all of the message boards, called customer support in the Phillipines, checked to see if the software update applied to our serial number (it didn't).  By chance I found a suggestion at www.esupport.sony.com. &nbs

First 650 characters of this postI purchased a Sony Projector HD TV KP65WV600 off of Craigslist last year & it's been working great but has recently started flashing green lines & flashes across the screen.  At first it was an occassional minor annoyance & seemed to correct itself but over time it increased to where eventually the TV shut itself off with the front standby indicator light, blinking 7 times (originally it was 5, then 6, now 7).

First 650 characters of this postI have a sony KDF-E55A20. This problem started back in October when I joined. I read some of the forums pulled out the lamp checked for dust, looked clean, put every thing back together. It cut off and on two more times and worked untill now. The tv will stay on for about 30 seconds and off about 30 seconds. When screen goes black the green light stays lit. If I turn tv off and back on right after picture goes out the green light turns red and flashes 5 times. My tv is about 3 years old. I checked the hours on the lamp. The LAMPCT was 2609. I also went to self check. Number 5 lamp driver was s

I have a Sony KDF60-XS955 TV and it was flashing 30 times green plus 7 additional times green before the video came back up on screen. I went in diagnostics mode. Lamp timer read 6600 hours. I replaced the lamp today and reset the lamp timer to zero.  Could not reset the Lamp CT to zero. Still shows 2000. Why? And, under the panel screen ( by pressing "Display" then "5" then "Volume +" then "Power") and then pressing "1" the panel display still shows the following:PANE

First 650 characters of this postThe power/standby button blinks green and the TV has no picture or sound except for a few seconds then it turns off again. The last time this happened we changed the bulb and it was a year ago and it was a sony original from sonystyles and it fixed the problem. We were thinking it shouldn't be the bulb since it was replaced a year ago and the one that came with the TV lasted 3 years. We took the bulb out and it did not look burned out. The thin thread-looking thing inside the lamp was still attached. The only thing the manual tells you about the blinking green light is that it means the lamp for

First 650 characters of this postHi, I have been searching the net for a solution to this, and am hoping some of you wonderful people here can help me.    What does it mean when the screen has turned completely white, and the green power light flashes continuously? I did read that this could be some sort of 'aging mode', but what do I do about it to get it to either quit out of that mode, or to make it run through it natural course to the end so the TV will work again?    I had entered the service menu to have a look to see if I could adjust the overscan levels, as it seems
