Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postThanks Maxxwire! It definetly has a cleaner sound than before!!The original caps were Nichicon 12000uf 71v. All i could find to fit was Panasonic12000uf 80v. This old girl does run a little bit hot...i think there was an update about that on these units if anyone here remembers?? I actually found some cracked solder joints on the old caps!!! No shame though after all those heat cycles for last 24 years!!!!Can't believe Sony didn't put an ES emblem on these units!!! Heavy build quality, excellent caps throughout & copper heat sinks everywhere, this unit must have flew unde

    Amp/Receiver/Speakers/Connections/CablesReplacement input board Beemserv72014-04-12 14:41
First 650 characters of this postGood afternoon.  I've recently posted about bridging my Sony TA N 55 ES and received some very helpful support and thank you for that.  While I'm on the subject the original TA N 55 ES I've had for a few years now has a bad input board.  Its the board with the RCA inputs on it.  The actual RCA jack has broken and I should have tried to repair the jack but just hard wired a pair of pig tails to the board instead.  I've hade to work my way back farther than I would have liked to get a decent spot to soder and its not pretty. Is there a coating on
    Amp/Receiver/Speakers/Connections/CablesBridged TA N 55 ES Beemserv32014-04-08 22:52
First 650 characters of this post I've viewed a few posts on this amplifier the sony TA N 55 ES and just purchased my second one to drive a pair of 1.6 Magnepan speakers. I've used this amplifier in a few other applications and have been very pleased with its performance. I plan to use each amplifier in mono mode bridged for this application. The pre amp used is a B&K AVR 507. It seems that due to the fact that the speakers have a 4 ohm load I shouldn't do so. If someone would confirm this for me I'll not risk things and use them elsewhere around the house and find another path to get a bit more of a full and warm sound o

First 650 characters of this postHi All,First time poster to this forum - looks like a place where lot's of smart people hang out!I have an old Sony STR-DE545 which I bought new probably 15 years ago and has until recently been a nice, reliable unit. It did have dry joints on the relays a few years back that caused various output channels to drop in and out but that was an easy fix for an electrical engineer with a soldering iron.Lately though, I've been getting some different problems. The unit causes random 'popping' in the speakers, someones one side only, sometimes another, sometimes se
    DVDDVP-S9000ES Tray Wont Open, Green Screenk1v111682014-04-05 12:43
First 650 characters of this postThis link is where I found the manual. below the preview image click \"Get Manual\" to download the pdf. both wires to the motor have +5v with respect to chassis ground. If I disconnect and ground either wire I can make the tray open/close. I have also tested the sensors related to the tray, A quadrature encoder on the motor and a switch that closes when the tray is fully retracted. both appear to be working when the tray is manually activated. Looking at the block diagram in the manual I think the probl
    Blu-Ray/HD DVDComparison between Sony BDP-S5100 Blu-ray player ans BDP S550maverick1135932014-04-04 02:53
First 650 characters of this post Hi guys , Had a couple of interesting days rostered off from work which gave me time to watch and compare my two blu-ray players. My interest was tweaked when I discovered my new little BDPs5100 is DSD (SACD) compatible .  My test parameters are simple, same HDMI cable connections and same power connections ,both have identical setup parameters internally and connected to my Integra dhc80.3 processor .Note  the BDPs550 has a “ATT” on audio setup which was turned off for comparison.

First 650 characters of this postI was hoping that someone on here might have a copy or know where I might be able to download a copy of the technical background "white paper" that Sony released for the SCD-XA5400ES... I have the one regarding the SCD-XA9000ES but keen to see the developments inside the 5400ES.I did find a link to an old out-of-date page on r4pidshare and think the filename is:SCD-XA5400ES_Ver_1_0_0623_SEL.zipApologies if it is already posted on here somewhere but a search did not reveal it.Thanks in advance!

First 650 characters of this postFirst of all, I didn't see this post before today.  How that could be, I don't know, since I check for posts daily.  Most likely it was a problem with Agoraquest. That said, why did you change the lamp in the first place?  I assume that the complete model number of your set is KF-50WE610, right?  If so, the Sony part number for the XL2100U LAMP BLOCK ASSY is A-1606-034-A.  Unfortunately, it no longer is in stock.  You might call 1-800-488-SONY (7669) to see when the part will be available of if there is a substitute part th
