Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this posthello all I seem to be having an issue with my sony 55wf655, I was watching TV last week and I heard a loud POP and the set turned off. I turned the TV back on and the lamp light came on so I ordered a new bulb and replaced that. Now when I go to turn on the TV the following happens. The power LED blinks green like normal startup.I hear a sound three times, I assume this is the ballast trying to light the lamp.after about 45 seconds the power LED turns red and the lamp light blinks red continously.Any help diagnosing this issue will be greatly appreciat

First 650 characters of this postOur KDF-55WF655 is now restarting itself every 3 minutes or so (in the past it restarted occassionally, but now it's doing so perpetually).  By "restart" I mean the picture goes black, audio shuts off, green light flashes as it normally does when first turned on, then the picture comes back, followed in 2-3 seconds by the audio. The Operating Instructions say the flashing green light means "The lamp for the light source is ready to turn on."  Right.  It was just on!Twice this weekend when the set was turned off, the red light went into a fiv

First 650 characters of this postHi,everyone.I have a sony KDF55WF655.The last 3 bulbs have only lasted about 3months each. They have popped.Prior to replacing this last bulb i cleaned the fan made sure it was working and that it had no airflow restrictions. The 2 bulbs i had replaced prior to these 3 just went dim from use.(normal).My query is what would cause this to happen.I have the service manual it says there is a bulb driver.Does this driver act as a ballast? Is it located on a circuit board or is it a seperate componant? The last 3 bulbs have been phillips/osram replacement bulbs(xl2200u) are these bulbs by chance inferi

First 650 characters of this postHi    I bought a sony TV model KDF-55WF655 in Feb, 2005. I started noticing the blue patch/spots problem about 2 weeks ago. When I searched on internet I saw this is a wide spread problem due to Sony's optical block design issue. So far I did not get a reasonable fix/response from SOny on this issue. I just wanted to know if anyone started a class action law suit against SONY for their insufficient response in addressing this issue with customers. S Lingala
