Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

Television TroubleshootingKDF-E60A20 Screen goes blank, no blinking lights.lyradd52012-10-11 13:47
First 650 characters of this postFor a few months, about once a week, the TV would go blank for about 15-30 seconds and then the picture would come back slowly. Last night this happened 5-6 times in one hour. There are no blinking lights and the green power light remains on during these incidents. I replaced the bulb almost 2 years ago. I performed the Self-Diagnostic Screen Display a month ago and had this result: 6: LowB-ERR 1. I cleared this code. I performed the test again today and had NO failure codes. Does this problem sound like it could be the thermal fuse? Would a bad bulb act this

First 650 characters of this postI'm having trouble with my SOny 60xs955. It blinks 5 red blinks. When turned on it shuts down and blinks green for 30 sections and turns back on for a few seconds. I've checked two of the three fans and got the readings from the diagnostic screen. They are:SELF CHECK1. Lamp Err  1 3. Lamp Cover 04. Fan-E/Temp-E 05. Lamp Driver 16. LowB-ERR 17. Audio-Prot 08. D-OVP 0 10. ATSC-OVP 1 101. First 650 characters of this postThe # 6 "LowB-Err" simply means that sometime in the past the error was received. That means that the temperature in the vicinity of the lamp exceeded the setpoint. If the thermal fuse, which is actually a bimetallic temperature switch were defective, you couldn't get the set on at all. Its time to breakdown and replace the lamp. I would purchase a genuine Sony replacement lamp

Television TroubleshootingKDF-55XS955 with menus scrambled but picture OK.prolfe22011-10-24 08:24
First 650 characters of this postWhen I switch the TV on it sometimes works for about 1 minute and then the channel display gets corrupted and random pixels appear all over the picture.  The pixels are some fixed and some blinking.  If I press the wega gate button on the remote, a very fuzzy illegible menu block appears on the screen along with more random pixels everywhere, pressing it again, makes them go away.  If I do the self diagnostic, the menu appears perfectly:

First 650 characters of this postHi all,Woke up this morning and tried to watch some TV on my Sony KDF-E55A20.  Picture would not come on and there was no audio.  At one point, I noticed that it seemed like the picture was trying to come through, and then it would go back to black.  I caught the slightest visual of VIDEO 6 (which is what I have my HD TiVo hooked to via HDMI) in the upper left corner before it cut back to black.I hit the power button to turn it off, and the red light blinked 5 times, stopped, and then repeated.  Hit power button again, it eventual

First 650 characters of this postSorry for the somewhat duplicate entry. Mods asked me to re-post this and i didn't want to start a new thread. I hope I did this correctly. I'm a little impatient with this because it's not the 1st time I've had problems with it. Had the thermal fuse changed 3 years ago and the bulb changed last year. Thanks for the help in advance. First 650 characters of this postHey guys, I have a Sony Wega gate television that is like 4-5 years old and it is starting to have problems.  I turn on the television and after a little while the screen goes black and the audio goes out for about 30 seconds. It does every minute or so while the television is on. I ran a self-diagnostic which said that there is an error with the lamp driver and the LowB-ERR. But I have no idea what those mean and was wondering if you guys did. Thanks.
Television TroubleshootingKDFxs955 dim after thermal fuse replacementsdthayer22010-04-09 08:09
First 650 characters of this postI replaced the thermal fuse on my TV about a week ago and everything worked great until yesterday when I noticed the screen getting dimmer.   I checked the self-diagnostic screen test which initially showed lamp error, LowB-error, and ATSC-OVP.  I cleared the result display, turned the TV off and checked the screen test again.  It showed no errors.  Within an hour the screen is black and the lamp light is blinking red.  I ordered a new lamp assembly this morning.  I am wondering if I should also replace the Lamp driver as well. &
