| First 650 characters of this post | I just had an estimate done on my Sony KP-43t70 43 inch. The convergence is off. They said the Green is out and I should replace both. Bottom line the repairs will total $509 ($350 being labor).
I\'ve had this since 2000 and this is the only problem i\'ve had with it. Is it worth the repairs or just get a newer television?
All opinions welcome.
Also, if I get a new one, what should I do with the old one or who to sell it too? Thanks |

| First 650 characters of this post | hey, im having color problems with our sony kp-43T70 color rear video projector, the 43\'\'. and i think the screen is tilted because i see a double vision of red on every thing. i press the \"flash focus\" button and a screen comes up showing a white crosshair not allighned with the red crosshair, any idea on how to fix this? you would think that the \"flash focus\" button would enable me to allign the crosshairs, but every time i press a button in that mod, it exists. i\'ve tried every possible menu options their is to check if theirs a way to allign it properly but i failed, little help guy |

Just search for Part or Accessory Number 996540101 or 996540801, respectively. Hopefully, you have a KP-43T70C and not a KP-43T70. The M board schematics look the same at a glance, so you may be able to get buy with the cheaper manual.[addsig] |

I have audio but I do not have video. When I fire up my 43\" Sony all I get is 5 quick red flashes from my timer/stand by light. | First 650 characters of this post | My Sony KP-43T70 won\'t turn on and is giving me the self-diagnostic code, four flashes. No video, but I can hear clicking sound (power relay) when I turned on or off the unit.

problem before:
I give the tv power, and from the back of the tv is a
click, like circuit breaker just got turned on.
the tv produces no picture or sound. it gives no
inidication that its getting power.
Yet the led on the front of the tv stays red.
sony tv model: kp-43t70
any feed back or direction would be much appreciated.
