Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television InstallationLDM3210 MBD MRX1 cannot show HDahac6922013-05-16 07:25
First 650 characters of this postFurther information. This tv is also known as kdl l32mrx1 and has native resolution of 1268x768.I went from pc to tv through vga at 1268x768 and it was fine. Tried at 1268x720 and no picture. This indicates according to Fury that the tv will not work with a Fury. Why doesn\'t the tv upscale the 720 signal. I thought it would be able to recieve a signal at a lower resolution than it is capable of.

Now the question I have is, don't I need to remove the transistors to be able to check for resistance?  No.  We are looking for a short circuit in both directions.  That means use the lowest resistance range on your multi-meter, for example, 10 ohms.  There is a short if the resistance is less than 1 ohm.  A resistance of ~ 8 ohm in one direction and infinite in the opposite direction is normal for a base to emitter or base to col

First 650 characters of this postI think I need to get a new TV(I broke the one I had).Looking at the new models I have found a KDL-47W805A that I like.At the same price there is a KDL-40W905A.The only important difference I found was the Triluminos display on the W9 and the double refresh rate (800 VS 400).(Don't really care about the 3D)Is there a noticeable difference in the quality of the 2 screens? What would you get?

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  Your are right, service manuals don\'t tell you how to troubleshoot equipment.  It is assumed that the reader is a qualified service technician, meaning that he/she has completed the necessary training.  I looked up the KDL-46V3000 in the LCD Service Manual and found that the LCD panel includes a TCON board.  In at least one instance, a member found a blow fuse there, that when replaced restored operation.  You might check and see if such a fuse exists in your set.P.S. I am not a qualified service technician.

First 650 characters of this postHi, I have been reading articles on AgoraQuest but never posted on here before... until now.  Did try to find the firmware updates for my KDL-L42MRX1 that it managed to miss from OTA updates... Anyway, I was wondering if you very knowledgeable people would know in which countries the SCD-XA9000ES was sold in Black ?  Yes the venerable XA9000ES rather than the XA5400ES, which I would dearly love to obtain despite leaving things a little bit late! Reason being is that I have a UK spec TA-DA9000ES in black which the SCD-XA9000ES would make
