Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postLooking at the picture from above, from the left is my TAE/N9000ES combo.  I use the TAE for my Direct TV and music via the VLink USB asynchronous DAC (Thanks for turning me on to that MAX!) . In the center is my (stillborn) HTPC, Toshiba XA2 HDDVD (RIP) and Direct TV box.   Very frustrating on that HTPC.  I have been building them for over 10 years and thought I had seen it all as far as operating system installation and troubleshooting.  But this latest build will NOT run Windows7 properly.  Something in the hardware (I think CPU

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  For the KDL46Z4100, 12 blinks, pause, 12 blinks, etc. means "HFR Error" (what ever that means) and the possible location listed is the "LCD Panel".This is the starting point for a qualified service technician.  However, you might check for a bad fuse on the TCON board which included with the LCD Panel (attached to it). What were your original symptoms/error code?

    Television TroubleshootingSony KDL42V4100 BU Board Compatibilityrwright5686112012-02-16 15:27
First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony Bravia model KDL42V4100 HDTV that needs a replacement BU board. I have removed the back of the TV to obtain the necessary information from the existing BU board, which has the following numbers 1-876-561-12 / A1506072C. In searching for a used replacement board, I have found boards that they claim were pulled from a KDV42V4100 HDTV but one number or the other is different, either 1-876-561-13 and/or A1506072B. Are these other boards compatible with my TV or do the both numbers have to be an exact match? What do these numbers refer

First 650 characters of this postI had a similar problem with my kdl-46s4100.In my case it turned to be the backlight inverter board - which I figured out by disconnecting the cables to the BL Inverter board and then powering up the TV.  With the BL Inverter board cables disconnected the green power light stayed on and I no longer got the 2 flashes from the standby lamp.  I posted more details on another thread specific to KDL-46s4100
