If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postThanks in advance for any responses...My Sony Wega (KDF-46E2000) has recently begun going to a black screen after a few moments of being on, blinks a bunch of times, then the screen turns back on.  I've run the self check and received no errors (just the standard 1-6,8 error descriptions but with 0 occurences).  From what I've read this sounds like a worn out lamp but then I realized that I have not received a bad bulb warning messaged like some have received nor is the red lamp light blinking...any ideas?  Do you think this still sounds like a worn ou
Television TroubleshootingI'm done with my KDF-46E2000 - Poor diagnostics! I will never buy a Sony product again.cpollitt62011-03-28 20:33
First 650 characters of this postI am completely exhausted with my KDF-46E2000 and I have no idea what else to try. It has worked without flaw for many years.  Almost a month ago by now, the bulb apparently failed and I was getting the flashing red Lamp light so I replaced the lamp....should have been no problem. After replacing the lamp, the warmup light flashes green for about 7 times and then the lamp turns on and I can see a perfect picture for about 5 seconds.  Then the TV resets and the green light starts flashing again as if I had just turned the power off and back on again..

First 650 characters of this postI have a KDF-46E2000 that stopped working one day and gave me a continuous blinking red light.  I then replaced the lamp and the problem changed to the green power light blinking like usual at warm-up and then the screen would turn on for about 2 seconds then it goes blank agains and the green light starts flashing like its warming up again. It repeats this pattern over and over.  I let it do this for over 2 hours hoping that it would finally give me a blink code that I could do something with, but no luck. After finding several other posts with the

First 650 characters of this postI have a KDF-46E2000 that has a black screen with the red "Lamp" light blinking continuously about once per second.  Looking up the blinking codes it reflects a "No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground, or held high), IK video path is defective." What I don't know is whether I need to replace the lamp assembly, the thermal fuse or something else.  I want to order the part from Sony, but don't know which part I should order.

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  For the KDF-46E2000, 3 blinks, pause, 3 blinks, etc. means \"Lamp cover / Lamp position error\".  The causes of these errors are \"Lamp cover is not securely attached (T1 board) / Lamp is not inserted properly (T2 board).  The T1 and T2 boards contain position switches that are actuated when the lamp cover is fully closed / the lamp is fully inserted.

First 650 characters of this postHi, If it\'s power cycling where it\'s turning off and on it could be the ballast/lamp driver. I would clean out the back since it could be due to overheating. Continuously blinking is usually a lamp replacement. You could run the self diagnostic test that is in the Frequently Asked questions thread. I just saw another thread that I just responded to with the same model KDF46E2000 that had optical block issues.Sony will repair it for free until June 2010. Not entirely sure that this is the problem. However, you could call them and they will send a repair person t
