| Television Troubleshooting | KDF70XBR950 Blinking Green After New Optical Block | wizzleteets | 11 | 2013-05-22 22:48 |
| First 650 characters of this post | I have a Sony KDF70XBR950 that had a failed optical block. I had the optical block repaired professionally and reinstalled it. When I turn the TV on, the green power/standby light flashes about once per second indefinitely. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and checked all connections again, but it is still doing the same thing. All the fans power up, but the bulb never comes on. I went ahead and replaced the bulb but it didn't change anything. Sorry if this has already been covered, but I've read so many different threads I can't tell up from down. & |
| Television Troubleshooting | kdf50we655 turning off and on w/blinking green light | Bearded | 4 | 2013-04-22 02:03 |
| First 650 characters of this post | I just got a kdf50we655 given to me with a problem the previous owner thought was a bad lamp fan. He said he couldn't hear the fan running when it was on as he had before hence the reason the screen was shutting itself off due to overheating. This was his amateur diagnosis just to be clear. However, I can currently hear the fan(s) run when it's operating. After doing more research, it sounds like it may be that I just need a new lamp even though it w as replaced about a year and half ago. Here's what's going on... when I turn it on, I get a picture for about 30 seconds and then the |

| First 650 characters of this post | Hello everyone!!!I need help to try and solve the problem with my TV. All started when I changed some of the settings in the service menu (fan set lower values) in hope to diminish the time it took to start (usually 6 seconds). After it, I turn of TV to exit service menu, then when I turn it back on, I've got a solid red light from the "lamp indicator" and the "standby" stays green with a 3 red blinking error code.I have already replaced the lamp assembly with a genuine sony, but that did not solve the problem, I also looked into the back cover and made sure t |

| First 650 characters of this post | Welcome to Agoraquest! Is the red standby light blinking 4 times, pause, 4 times, etc.? The number of times that the green power light blinks does not indicate an error code. For the KDF60XS955, 4 blinks, pause, 4 blinks, etc. of the red standby light means \"Fan error\" or \"Temp error\"The probable causes listed for \"Fan error\" are as follows:1. Fan 1-4 Power is not supplied (G2 board)2. Fan connector is not seated securely3. Fan caught wires or harnessesThe probable causes listed for \"Temp error\" are as follows: |
