Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postHello, I have seen many FE2-chassis based sets, and the "number 1"-problem of these sets is a defective flyback transformer which also breaks down the line output transistor. In non-widescreen models, also some components in the ABL-circuit and the Ultimate One Chip IC001 are affected, in widescreen models only a resistor in the ABL-circuit blows. The tuner being the cause of 'error 11' is not known by me. In general a diagnosis without examining the set is not easy. There are often more possibilities for a symptom to occur, so the technician has to do some

First 650 characters of this postHello / hallo, this set does not use the 100 Hz AE6B chassis but is based on the 50 Hz FE2 chassis.Reason for this error 5 (Ik = cathode current = AKB = Automatic Kathode Biasing) could be several. Is this a sudden problem, or did it occur after the flyback transformer had been replaced?Regards / groeten,Bora.

First 650 characters of this postHello, the combination of the random OSD and error code 5 is unknown to me.Normally, the OSD appears only when the set don\'t detect a valid TV-signal (eg. on an unused external connector or when disconnecting the antenna), or when you press the \'DISPLAY\' button (marked \'i+\') on the remote control.Does the picture stay when OSD does come up?The error 5 message indicates that no or not sufficient beam current is detected by the jungle-IC and points in the direction of the picture tube, it\'s driver stage or an omitted  supply- or heater voltage. As

First 650 characters of this postHello, this is a reply from an earlier post of me: Hello, even as repairman I think it would be error 11, because this is the main problem in these sets.Number 1 cause is the flyback transformer (T511, Sony partnumber 1-453-308-31), causing also line output transistor Q533 (BU2515DX, p/n 8-759-049-02 and ABL-resistor R518 (6k8 chip, p/n 1-216-069-91) to blow.Other less common causes: - One of the startup resistors of the main power supply has increased in value: R610, R633 or R648. First 650 characters of this postHello, when error 5 occurs in FE2 chassis, this are the possibilities:- Check the pins of connector CN003 on the A-board for making good contact.- On the A-board, diode D536 can be shortened, also causing R548 to go open. - R518 on the A-board became too high in value.Regards,Bora.

First 650 characters of this postHello, you are right: I thought it was regarding an LS60 model, and that manual is some bigger. But when error 2 is detected in FE2-chassis at times there is a bright scene on the screen, it\'s most of the times very simple. Between the power transformer and the audio amplifier, nearly in the middle of the chassis, there is a resistor R618 which can cause that Over Current Protection is detected erroneously. When you replace this resistor with a 270k / 0,25W resistor, the problem could be over. When the problem is not over then: in a minority of the cas
