Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this post Unfortunately, I can\'t be of much assistance unless you have received and error code, because I am not a TV repair technician.  You might try searching the forum for similar problems using the Advanced Search option at the bottom of the Forums page.  Select Google Search at the top of the page that appears.

First 650 characters of this postHi Jehill, Thank you very very much for your informative reply. I really appreciate that you downloaded the servce manual and tried to locate defective parts I listed. Last time I tried at least 10 times to add pictures to my post, pictures were uploaded correctly but when I clicked "Submit Post" an error message went on. Disapointed after many trials I gave up. I suspect that there is a problem with my webbrowser. I found some more resistors open and a swollen capacitor C403. I will replace all defective parts but I cannot find a 2SC3514. I want to susttitute it by a B

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  You should have placed your post in the Television Troubleshooting forum, but it\'s too late now.  For the KDL52XBR5, 5 blinks, pause, 5 blinks, etc. means T-CON error.  The TCON board is no longer available from Sony.  If there is a fuse on your TCON board, replace it if it is bad.  If not, I would suggest contacting for a replacement.  Look for a 9 digit Sony part number on the TCON board in the format XXXXXXXXX OR X-XXX-XXX-XX.  You need to get that befor

First 650 characters of this postHi, just discovered yesterday this great forum!I have the following problem with this set: When I switch on the set (or wake up from s/b), sound comes immediately, then picture comes a few seconds after, everything is okay at this point (with dark pictures, purple/blue zigzagged lines are visible, however). After a variable delay, from 5 to 10 seconds, picture brightness becomes unstable, turning light green, then light red, finally white. Picture stretches suddenly horizontally and enter protection mode, with the 2 times blinking led sequence. I checked the posts

First 650 characters of this post Unfortunately, I don\'t have access to the KDL40X1000 service manual.  The closest I have is the KDL40X2000 service manual.  For it, 9 blinks, pause, 9 blinks, etc. of the red standby light means \"Panel Error\".  The panel referenced is the LCD panel.  The problem could be the attached T-CON board, if there is one.  The T-CON board usually has a fuse, which could be bad.

First 650 characters of this postHi There All!I am currently waiting for my Main board to arrive to see if it can solve the issue I have been having with my Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR4. I am preparing for the worst and want to find out my options in the even that this component does not fix my issue. The issue I am having is the TV sometimes turns on and when it does there are no issues at all. Other times (and most of the time) I will push the power button and the Sony light and the green light will turn on and there is no sound, screen, or backlight. After waiting for about 5 to 10 seconds the Sony light turns off an

First 650 characters of this post Welcome to Agoraquest!  Unfortunately, I do not have access the service manual for the KLV-42EX410.  The closest I have is for the US model KDL-40EX400.  For that model, 6 blinks, pause, 6 blinks, etc. means \"Backlight Error\" and the possible location is the LCD panel.  If you are lucky, there is a TCON board attached to the LCD panel.  See if there is a fuse on the TCON board that may be blown.
