    First 650 characters of this postAfter checking the on screen service mode, it tells me that the Lamp Driver Unit has failed.  I overnighted one and also a Lamp just to be on the safe side since my Lamp had over 6000 hours on it.  I installed the new Lamp Driver Unit, powered up the TV and it did the same thing.  So I figued what the hell lets replaced the Lamp bulb and see what happens and now it works fine.So I take it that your lamp bulb can go bad even if the set works for about a min, goes blank, then cycles through this again and again.  Even if the Lamp light on the fron
