Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKDL40S2010 red led blinks 4 timesopenagos22009-11-02 20:23
First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony KDL40S2010 USA television with the led blinks 4 times.I did some troubleshooting on the inverter board 1-789-500-32 and checked okay, then I checked the output voltage on the G2 board and I measured about 1.5vac. I believe I need to replace the G2 board the service manual calls for part no A1169591E but the board that is in my tv is A1169591F. I have seen vendors selling power supplys for kdl40S2010 with letters C, D, E, and F.Can I use any one of these boards?

First 650 characters of this postI have the same problem.  Blinks 9 times, does not turn on.  I removed the G-Board and located D6301 and D6116.  How hard/easy are these to replace?  I located the parts through partsstore.com although the D6116 has a different parts number.  Is the 8-719-074-43, a suitable replacement?  Any easy to follow instructions for replacing these?  Can\'t afford to send for repair right now.

First 650 characters of this postHelloI have the KF50WE610 since 2004 with no problems until now...tv shuts down after few minutes and power light blinks 6 times. I bought a thermal fuse(part# 157695111, the size of a dime) from sony, removed the fan, removed the A/V, removed the optical unit, removed the second fan but I don't find the thermal fuse. I'm planing to change the thermal fuse first and then the G1 board(this is what I read in this forum). I'm not technical so please I'll need details. Thank you

First 650 characters of this postI was watching the 3 year old tv when the screen went blank. No lamp red light came on but it was recently getting dimmer so I ass-umed it was the bulb. Replaced a Phillips bulb with an Osram and still no picture. Reset again by pulling the plug. The tv comes on just like normal, green status light blinks 12 times and then goes steady green. I can hear the fan come on but no bulb. Now I'm thinking it may be the ballast but I don't know how to tell. I have read most posts but I cannot find anybody with the same problem. Just my luck! PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN! Any thoughts or advice would be great

First 650 characters of this postEvery time i turn on my Sony rear video projector, the stand by light blinks 9 times pauses then does it again. I can sometimes get the TV to work every once in a while but tiplicly it doesnt work. I open it up and took out the G board (After looking a several posts). The two diodes i were supposed look at were D6116 and D6301. After finding both of them i noticed the D6116 Was blackened and a bit chard( not to much.) Do you still think the diodes are the problem? Ill post pictures later. Yes i do realize the TV is 5 years old.
