| Television Troubleshooting | XBR 400 Dead! Help! | mike59 | 234 | 2009-06-20 12:28 |
| First 650 characters of this post | Folks - just wanted to THANK all that have posted on the \"no video / 7 blinks\" problem. I thought it was over for my Sony KV-40VBR800 (aprox 6 years old) when I lost video. A search on the net led me to this site, and after about an hour of research was (relatively) convinced I had the D Board problem descrobed here. So I rolled the dice and found a replacement D board on Sony site http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/ecom/accessories/web/productSearch.do for 195.00 (Sony part # A1300319A). Argued wi |
| Television Troubleshooting | Which D board do I need for a Sony KV36XBR800? | XBR800Man | 12 | 2008-03-29 13:35 |
| First 650 characters of this post | Well based on what I have read, most failures similar to mine are a few IC chips. I have seen no mention anywhere on the net, where any other board except D was the problem.Did you send your boards to TSM? If so what did they charge?Funny thing, sonys part for the D board is $194. and TSM is $174. not much difference. Thanks for your help. Btw sony said part Number is A1300319A |

Yes, the horizontal deflection circuitry is on the D board. You may purchase a new D board for $177.63 here. Just search for Part or Accessory Number A1300319A. I wouldn\'t be so quick to dismiss Sony products. You just got the luck of the draw! Tell me honestly, when you purchased your set was there another set by another manufacturer that had a superior picture? I doubt it! Failures are likely to occur regardless of the |
| Television Configuration | Two KV-HS510 questions/issues. | jehill | 3 | 2006-03-09 13:48 |
| First 650 characters of this post | Welcome to Agoraquest! Are you sure that A1300291A is a valid part number? I found one post on Agoraquest that implies that it is the part number for the KV-32HS510 D board. However, the correct part number is A1300319A. The circuitry on the D board varies from set to set, but in the KV-32HS510, it rectifies the AC input power, supplies 135V, 200V, 15V, -15V and high voltage (HV) power and provides the vertical an horizontal deflection circuity (the circuitry that positions the electron beam on the cathode ray tube (CRT). Does this help?[addsig] |
| Television Troubleshooting | KV36XBR800 has bad D-Board ... | jehill | 5 | 2005-06-21 20:40 |
| First 650 characters of this post | First of all, you would be getting ripped off because you can purchase the D board from Sony here for only $177.63. Just search for Part or Accessory Number a1300319a. You need to take your set somewhere else, preferably, an authorized Sony servicenter, that is willing to take the time to troubleshoot and repair the board that you have. The D board is a BIG board, similar in size to the motherboard in a computer. Its unlikely that more than a few co |

| First 650 characters of this post | Seven blinks means \"Horizontal Deflection Stopped\". This probably means that the horizontal deflection circuitry was shut down due to a fault. Yes, the problem could be on the D board, but there is no guarantee. Nothing beats troubleshooting by a competent tech. The part number for the D board is A1300319A. It is available here for $177.63.[addsig] |
| Television Troubleshooting | KV-32HS510 Out, 6 blinking lights | Vvelivis | 3 | 2005-02-19 20:40 |
| First 650 characters of this post | I have a KV-32HS510 built in August 2003 from Mexico. Yesterday, it went out and the idiot light blinks either 6 or 7 times. Had tech out and of course it will cost zillions to fix, (yea right) When I start it up, you can hear the initial sounds and then several clicks that seem to eminate from near a transformer on the \"D\" PC board. After that, there is no picture and the idiot light continues to amuse me. Supertech says it\'s a high-end voltage regulator ( all that knowledge by just standing about 10 feet from the set, he can feel its\' vibes I guess). Here\'s my question, if I re |
