If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postHi Everyone,Just dropping in to say that I recently had a vertical line appear on my screen, local techs came in tried to replaced the panel but they also had to replace the board and sony had sent wrong board.. anyway they hauled the TV away and brought it back yesterday after "fixing" it. And today it is terrible. It is all Purplish and has bunch of lines and boxes like vertical scanlines, flickering all over the place, and after about 30 minutes it dissipates. Turn off and turn it back on after it cools down, it is there once again...This TV is driving me crazy.

First 650 characters of this postOK, our SONY 61" KP-61XBR38 TV started making a noise that sounded like arching and the picture would fluctuate along with the noise until the picture shut off and sound stayed on.. I never remembered what code it would flash while this happened because at the time i didn't know much about TV repair.. Now about one month later I would say I know alot more and should have remembered this, anyways I had a TV repair man come out, he ran a Bunch of visual tests and said he was certain my problem was on the power board (N board I think) and it would be about $200-500 to go from there..

First 650 characters of this postHowdy!I'm baaaack.  First, an answer to the previous question: > The first time a fuse was blown. > Where you playing at loud volume? > Or was it a lightstrike?None of the above.  I normally leave the unit on all the time (nice cool-running digital amps). It was about 11pm and I was sitting reading the paper.  The STR-DA9000ES was on but not doing anything.  All of a sudden, I heard the relay clicking -- cycling every few seconds as if it was powering up.  This is what the local repair sh
Television Troubleshootingblue/yellow tint to the picture of sony50xbr800 tvpaldam62008-01-24 18:49
First 650 characters of this postSony50XBR800 rear projection lcd tv is of 2003 model. Its lamp was changed few months ago. Since past week, the picture acquires a yellow tint, and then swiches to blue tint and sometimes back to normal(very rarely). This swap of picture tint is very random and continuous. once it had become full black and white also. It appears as if a blue or yelloe transparent film has been put on the screen, otherwise no problem with the picture quality, i. e. no blurring, no discolored spots, ghosting, flickering etc. What is the problem with the set?
Television TroubleshootingPicture Quality (Bravia KDL-26s2030)kanedova12007-07-21 12:34
First 650 characters of this postHi, I recently purchased the Sony Bravia KDL-26S2030 and I realized that the picture isn\'t as crystal clear as I hoped it would be. It is slightly \"scratching\" or flickering in the background and even when I play a DVD it\'s not 100%. I tried configuring and fine tuning it as much as possible, without success. Could anyone please tell me if my product might be faulty, or if it\'s \"normal\"? Thanks for any help, i highly appreciate it. Wish everyone a nice weekend.

First 650 characters of this postI have recently purchased a Sony STR-DA5200ES receiver and I have a constant flickering line at the very bottom of the picture on my monitor (Sony PFM-42X1/B).The line appears whenever I watch DVDs (via component video) or use the on screen menu of the receiver. The receiver is set to output 1080i to the monitor via an HDMI>DVI cable. However, using our DirecTV HD DVR which has HDMI outut, the picture is fine.If I disable upscaling on the receiver, the picture is also fine (but I bough the darn thing for the Faroudja upscaling !!!).

TV worked great for 2 weeks. Now, I see horizontal lines at the bottom... transparent lines where you see close captioned text or CNBC ticker tape. Area is flickering, and bit blurred. It is about 4 \" horizontal area that is bit grayed. I can see picture fine but all the text is stretched when I turn on close captioned.  Has anyone noticed this before..? I re-checked for power fuses and connections ...lo

First 650 characters of this post  I have had the KV-36XBR450 for four years+ with excellent service until recently. I moved the television upstairs and soon after noticed that the picture was a bit wobbly (flickering on the sides). I left the unit on for at least 12hrs and the wobble seem to have disappeared. The very heavy unit was then subjected to two very serious earthquakes (Richter 6+) after which the unit

First 650 characters of this postHi Bora Bora. I was looking at this quote you made to a member earlier this year. I have a KV-32LS60U and I think I have the said RGB problem. Do you have a link as to how to fix this from the service menu? I\'d appreciate your help as the flickering i\'m getting thru my set is awful to the point of offloading it.  On 2006-01-19 12:44, Borabora wrote:Hello, then I think the problem is a compatibility issue. In the FQ86 models a Micronas VSP9417 video processor is used. First 650 characters of this postI\'ve recently got this as a second hand item to replace my ageing KV-32W1FU.While cosmetically, and on paper, this should be a superior model, I\'m not at all happy with the picture quality to say the least. It\'s very grainy and no where near as sharp as I\'d expect from a newer SONY, and thats not even taking the 100hz scanning into consideration! A particular problem I notice while watching thru Freeview is, the picture quality is very prone to a sort of slow flickering, fading in & out effect and the corners of the screen seem dark around the edges

First 650 characters of this post I have a SONY KD-34XBR970 34\" HDTV with HDMI input. I have a Dish vip622 Receiver, and a SONY DVP-NS75H HDMI Upconvert DVD Player (which just replaced a Samsung 950 upconvert dvd player). The TV only has one HDMI input, so I bought a Genfen HDMI switcher. I connected the dish receiver and the dvd through the genfen switcher, which was fed to the tv\'s hdmi input. This scenario worked out perfectly with the old Samsung. Until yesterday morning, when I hit the switch to activate the DVD\'s HDMI feed, turned on the DVD and got nothing but a flickering blue screen. I could only
